Objective

The TRIP Strategy course, originally priced at 1,500 USD, is now available for 750 USD. This offer is valid until 31 December 2025.

The course provides CAA employees and other stakeholders with the competencies to implement the five key elements of the ICAO TRIP strategy, ensuring interoperability and internal cooperation, in accordance with Annex 9.

Learning objectives

  • Describe the five key elements of the TRIP strategy
  • Identify the Annex 9 provisions associated with the five key elements of the TRIP strategy
  • Identify the benefits of interoperable applications to meet border security requirements

  3. Module 2: Evidence of Identity
  4. Module 3: Machine Readable Travel Documents
  5. Module 4: Document Issuance and Control
  6. Module 5: Inspection System and Tools
  7. Module 6: Interoperable Applications

Target audience

  • CAA employees, travel documents issuers, immigration agents, law enforcement authorities, relevant airport and airline staff, customs agents, and civil registry senior officers.
  • Secondary Target Population: Employees in public health, quarantine and other relevant border control authorities.

Prerequisites

1. Proficiency in English language.
2. Experience in the area of Facilitation.
3. Computer literacy.
