This course provides a complete overview of the critical components of wildlife and habitat management in Wildlife Hazard Management Programme

Learning objectives

  • Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:
  • 1. List the key elements of wildlife and habitat management in the context of aviation
  • 2. Define the possible variations in wildlife species and behaviours within and around the aerodrome
  • 3. Describe the different control measures and intervention techniques adopted to mitigate risks due to wildlife hazards
  • 4. Explain how to plan, execute, and evaluate a Wildlife Hazard Management Programme specific to an airport's situation.
