Course Description
This course provides an overview of sustainability within airline operations, including accessibility, customer experience, passenger rights, fuel considerations, and waste management. Learners examine how airlines integrate environmental, social, and economic considerations into daily operations and long-term planning. Media-rich activities and case examples highlight how airlines balance regulatory requirements, efficiency, customer safety, and social responsibility in advancing sustainability.
This course is included in the Aviation Sustainability online training programme and may also be taken individually. For a foundation in aviation sustainability concepts, learners are encouraged—but not required—to complete Aviation Sustainability: Introduction to Aviation Sustainability before beginning this course.
