The course covers topics such as weather forecasting, climate change, emissions, noise pollution, and ICAO’s environmental standards. It also introduces key sustainability goals, including the global net-zero emissions target for aviation by 2050.
Course Description
This self-paced course is part of the Fundamentals of International Aviation Online Training Programme. Delivered in five (5) units, the course explores the critical role of environmental sustainability in air transportation. Learners will examine the relationship between aviation and the environment, including how weather, climate, and international regulation intersect to support sustainable aviation practices.
