This course aims to provide participants with knowledge, skills and attitude required to control ground movement and air traffic within the control zone of the aerodrome effectively and efficiently in accordance with standards required by the concerned Licensing Authority.

Target audience
Candidates intended to be Aerodrome Controllers from different CARC units and new designated employees, who are acquire the entry requirement of the course
Prerequisites
1- Must possess his country citizenship
2- Satisfying high school grades
3- Good knowledge of English Language and Aviation language
4- Acceptable background in math, science and geography
5- Pass medical test in accordance with Annex 1
6- Ability to pass aptitude test carried by psychologist and includes:
a- Flexibility and inventiveness
b- Logical abilities
7- Pass interview and practical tests carried by psychologist and experienced ATC officer, which will assess:
a- Stress tolerance,
b- Ability to cooperate,
c- Ability to take initiatives
