This course aims to equip aviation professionals with a foundational understanding of cybersecurity and its ever-growing importance in the aviation industry. By integrating aviation knowledge with cybersecurity concepts, participants will explore how these domains interact and impact flight operations. The course delves into various aspects, including the technological underpinnings of aviation systems, the connection between cybersecurity and safety, and the methods used by attackers. COURSE STRUCTURE
The 40-hour course is offered in both an in-person, face-to-face format delivered from Embry-Riddle locations around the world or virtually in an online, real-time modality using Embry-Riddle's award-winning online learning system.
The in-person delivery runs over five full days (8 hours per day), covering 5-6 modules daily.
The virtual delivery runs over 10 half-days (4 hours per day), covering 3-4 modules daily.
