Learners will gain insight into how airports function as complex, internationally standardized organizations that support safe, secure, and efficient air transport.

Learning objectives

Upon completion of the course, the participants should be able to:
Summarize how airport activities are standardized internationally, including the contents of Annex 14, the role of the Airports Council International (ACI), and universal measures of time and location
Explain the operational structure of airports, specifically elements of airside and landside operations
Describe key elements of airport economics, including aeronautical and non-aeronautical revenue sources
